What if there were no God?

Genesis 1.1

“In the beginning, God created the Heavens and the Earth.”

Note: The Bible never doubts the existence of God!

2 Timothy 3.16-17

“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof,

for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God

may be competent, equipped for every good work.”

Isaiah 55.9

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your

What if there were no God?

If there is no God…

• There would be no morals.– Everyone would do what they feel is

right? (Judges 17.6; 21.25)– No standard = no guide?

If there is no God…

• There would be no trust.– Without a standard, there is no

faithfulness? – No faithfulness = no trust?

If there is no God…

• There would be no creation.• There would be no people.• There would be no salvation.– Without a standard, there is no

faithfulness? – No faithfulness = no trust?

What if there were no God?

BUT THERE IS!

…but there is!

“For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God.”

Evidence is seen!

“The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.”

(Psalm 19.1)
