Who am I:Joshua Arida
I was born on the 29th of May 1997 at Auburn Hospital.
My proud parents are Sid and Marilyn.
I am the youngest of three children and have an older sister Chauntelle
and Brother Tony.
I received my first sacrament at Our Lady of Lebanon Church and
this brought me into the Maronite Catholic faith and
tradition.
I went to preschool and made many friends, some are still my
friends today. At preschool I learnt many of the basic things to life including being independent and this is what has
shaped me to who I am today.
Superheroes were a large part of my junior years and they continue
to play a major part in my life.
Going to primary school had an influence on my life as it helped me grow into a young boy who is
confident and responsible and these values have grown with me
over the years.
My first dog Pikachu
My First Holy Communion brought me closer to God and let God
become a part of my life.
In my junior years I played soccer with my brother and cousins.
I also did Tae Kwon Do with my siblings, however I didn’t enjoy Tae Kwon Do and refused going,
while my siblings continued.
My family and I were very fortunate to travel to Lebanon twice in 2001 and 2004.
I met many of my relatives and cousins and noticed how different life is.
What we take for granted today including electronics games, computers and some household appliances aren't available. It makes me appreciate what I have and how lucky and fortunate I am to live in a
country like Australia.
My brother and I share similar interests including the Harleys at my Uncles Wedding.
My sister and brother have a huge influence on my life and guide and protect me. They play a major role in my life and I look up to them as
role models.
Having a great
time at the
Beach during
our holidays.
And here I am today a Marist Boy in 2010.
Marist has taught me values to become a better person and has shaped me to grow and mature
into a young gentleman I am today.
