• Matt 24:43 “If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into.”

• How can I allow my marriage to be “broken into”?• Household Distractions• Conflicts with Friendships• Nit-pick my husband• Don’t protect our intimate life

• Goals for 2016• Study out 2 Pet 1:5-8;10-11 “…make every effort to add to

your faith, goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

• vs 10-11 “…if you do these things, you will never stumble, and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”

• To Be Humble we must Fill our Minds with Scriptures• Col 2.8 - “See to it that no one takes you

captive by philosophy and empty deceit.”

• Eph 5:24- “Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.”

• We are respectfully submitting to a God-given position NOT to perfection!

• We are designed to help our husbands - Gen 2:18 - “The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”
