About Vertfest

It began in 2007…

The first VertFest was started by a group of Outdoor Research employees as a good old-fashioned sufferfest followed by a bunch of beer in support of avalanche safety.

•  Vertfest is the largest backcountry ski and snowboard festival in America

•  It’s a multi-stop mountain festival dedicated to promoting backcountry fun, safety, and stoke
