Greece is a paradise in Europe220 average monthly hours of sunshine throughout the year
We have the 11th longest coastline in the world being 13,676 km (8,498 mi) in length
In 2009 we had 19,3 million tourists
More than 2,3 million British citizens visited us in 2011 for holiday
A huge number of tourists come to Greece for sailing
2
But I am not here today to convince you to book your
holiday
Everyone knows that we are facing big difficulties during this period of
time
A big percentage of people live their lives in front of the TV
Every challenge is an opportunity
We feel insecure and afraid of what is going to happen next
The Greeks are depressed and sad from the financial situation
Think…outside of the box!
3
The development of sailing in Greece will give us the opportunity to…
Keep our minds sharp and ready for new opportunities
Fight depression
Be more active and healthy
Relax
Be more positive to over come the difficulties
