DERS

The range of steel cylinders is produced by Eurocylinders System AG (ECS). ECS is one of the biggest and most effi cient manufacturers of high pressure steel cylinders in Europe with an annual output of more than 500,000 cylinders. ECS manufactures on two production lines at their plant in Apolda, Germany.

Cylinders are forged from 34CrMo4 steel, cylinders necks are M25/2 threaded according to EN144 norm. After internal and external shot-blasting, before powder coating (primary + fi nish), the cylinders are warm dipped in zinc. CE marking according to PED 97/23/CE.Manufactured with seamless convex basis.BtS offers a complete range of steel cylinders (refer to the below table):- 1 litre all the way to the large 20 litres - specialized models including 3, 7 and 8 litres- classical models 10, 12 litres Short or Long- extreme 15 and 16 litres

EUROCYLINDER SYSTEMS AG is CE certifi ed according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000.

Quality assured by prescribed testing and manufacturing controls:• Visual and dimensional inspection.• Control and registration

of heat treatment temperatures.• Brinell hardness test.• Water pressure test and volumetric

control/internal drying of every cylinder.• Visual inspection of internal and external surfaces.• Run-out check and inspection of the neck thread.• Automated ultrasonic testing.• Gas leak and integrity testing.

Destructive material test are carried out with two cylinders from each heating lot (1 heating lot = maximum 220 cylinders) including impact and hydraulic burst test.

Suitable for “made to measuresolutions” (special valves, specifi c confi guration of doubles, rebreather design, etc…).

All steel cylinders can be assembled to include any model of the various valves and/or manifolds (please referto pages 8 to 12 (mono) and pages 15to 23 (twins).

The higher pressure rating results inincreased material thickness, thuscontributing to extra weight.

The range of aluminium cylinders offered by BtSEuropa AG is produced by Luxfer either at their UKor US production plants.Luxfer Gas Cylinders is the world’s largest manufacturer of high pressure aluminium cylinders.Luxfer is using a proprietary 6061 alloy, an exclusivebalanced aluminum-magnesium-silicon blend. Corrosion-resistant interior and exterior. Lightweight - up to 40% lighter than most comparable steel cylinders.BtS offers an extensive range of aluminium cylinders (refer to the below table):

- smaller sizes for drysuit infl ation systems - mid-range for rebreather use- classical larger volumes for decompression and

STEELSTEEL The Doubles ECO models developped by BtS allows the diver to carry larger volume of gas in an affordable way, offering greater autonomy and extended stability at the same time.

STEELSTEEL The Doubles ECO steel models developped by BtS are also available with M26/2 valves and bring the same benefi ts as the G5/8 versions (larger volume of gas, greater autonomy and extended stability).

The ECO M26 confi guration is made-up with two steel cylinders (232 Bar), held in place by twin boots and connected with a M26 manifold (no isolation).

The popular aluminim doubles confi guration has been a warm water diving standard for a long period of time. Made up of two S80 (11,1 litres) cylinders, assembled with stainless steel bands and isolation manifolds (same as DIR style steel doubles).

New Style Concave Steel Cylinder,

with a unique design.

It’s concave bottom allows the cylinder to stand vertical on its own,

without requiring a plastic boot.The new bottom shape results in

some extra weight, compared to a classical cylinder (+0,6kg).

“P” VALVE - SYSTEM Considered a must

for any Dry Suit Diver undertaking moderate to long underwater exposures.

Allows a diver to relieve himself while immersed. Without this possibility the diver will often intentionally keep himself

in a state of dehydration. Not only is this very uncomfortable but as well potentially dangerous.

There is a clear link between effective decompression and hydration.

A dehydrated diver will often act irresponsibly and there is evidence

indicating that dehydration is a major contributor to decompression illness.

Divers can remain comfortable and avoid health risks and throughout their dives.

The “new” P-Valve has many advantages.Besides streamlining, the valve cap allows for easy operation and maintenance access.The interior hose assembly design makes suit donning and removal simple. Total design consists of three Delrin® pieces, which makes installation fast and easy.

and easy to read compasses.

This Hydration Bladder is specially designed for use with doubles. The bladder fi ts between the cylinders and

wing. The reinforced holes at either end of the bladder match the standard spacing of band bolts. Integrated into a normal confi guration, it allows the diver access to water through the drinking hose.

most challenging part of a dive trip

is transporting gear to and from the staging area.

Perfect for Recreational Divers, Technical Divers and Underwater Photographers.

Instead of just one pair of wheels, the Smart Gear’s Cart hand truck has two pairs. The addition of another pair of wheels allows the majority of the weight to be carried by the cart itself. This removes the pressure from the lower back of the user.

Smart Gear’s Adventure Cart is made of stainless steel, aluminium and glass-fi lled nylon plastic. It is rust resistant. No welding – no rivet. Built tough, but still lightweight and convenient, it weighs 10.6 kg only but can carry up to 135 kg.

The CUDA represents the culmination of DIVE XTRAS last 4 years of experience in making and diving the Sierra X-Scooter. The new CUDA design and motor give not only higher speeds but also provide extreme effi ciency at cruise speeds (87%). This gives the diver the power to overcome the worst currents combined with the endurance for the longest explorations.The entire housing, body and tail have been re-designed, using fi nite element analysis to remove every piece of excess material, while maintaining the strength for a 180 meters depth rating. The result is a 24kg scooter with twice the range of anything comparable.Throughout the massive re-design the key proven aspects of the Sierra have been maintained. Video mounts allow divers to secure their video equipment to the scooters.

Standard Camera Mount is designed to attach lighting system and/or camera

to the scooter via a robust cam band.

The 360° rotating Deluxe Swivel Camera Mount allows diver to adjust camera angle on the fl y.

Adaptors have been designed to facilitate fi tting of most common housings, (already available:

Universal Flat Plate, L&M SR12/HC9, L&M FX1, L&M Stingray, L&M Titan, Gates small, Gates large).

The Power Outlet Kit gives the CUDA a 12V outlet using a E/O connector on the scooter tail.

It allows diver to use part of the Cuda battery power for applications such as video lighting

or heating vests, with minimum impact on potential run time (e.g. running a 30W heating vest

for an hour only reduces run time by 10min).

Check at a glance if your charger is functioning properly and if your battery is fully charged.

The Watt's Up comes with connectors pre-installed to connect to your battery and charger. This will work for both Sierra and Cuda.

The Watt's Up meter measures all the aspects of how power is being transferred. It measures current Voltage, Amps, Wattage.

It keeps track of total Watt Hours (Wh), Amp hours (Ah) peak Watts (Wp) and peak Amps (Ap). It also records minimum Volts (Vm). The LCD display measures Voltage,

Amps, and Wattage in real time and cycles through the other measurements.
