The title of the album is ‘playing in the shadows’, this is reflected by the fact half of the artists face is in the light and the other is distorted due to it being covered by a shadow.

The fact there is a shadow over half of his face could be a way of showing there 2 dimensions to this album, something new that you haven't seen/heard before and another side to example that we are finally going to see.

The only thing that is in colour on the front of this dig pack is the artists name, ‘Example’. This makes the most important information on the digi pack stand out, the artist. If people don’t know who the artist is they will not be as interested in the digi pack.

The serious expression on Examples face shows that he as a music artist wants his music to be taken seriously as well as him as just him as an artist.

The track listing is not the main feature on the back of the digi pack like it is on the majority of others and is in very small text in white which will still attract people to read it because the white writing stands out from the background.

The picture of example on the back still shows a very ‘dark' side to him due to the fact his face is covered by a shadow, the only thing that is in the light is his eyes. Eyes are known to be the window to the soul which could be interpreted as the album is very meaning full to him and the lyrics of the songs come from within.

The bar code is shown so it is able to be sold in shops and this is a feature of every digi pack.

The spine is very simple just carrying on with the black and white theme of the rest of the albums digi pack with a simple text for easy reading.
