REMINDERS
• Safety first• Bancas: where to get food and water
(please don’t throw in water)• For competitive:– No walking, no hanging on to the boats– Turning buoys should be on your right
except Crimson pier where you have to tap the pier
• Mass start: both competitive and fun at the same time
• Note your numbers• Wave when in trouble• 2k: Once clockwise around course• 6K: Thrice clockwise around course
REMINDERS
• Follow buoys• Turning point markers: right shoulder nearest
turning point marker: either buoy or banca• Headed north: stay near shore• Make sure to turn properly around the buoys
REMINDERS
• Caution on jetskis and bancas • Be reminded of markers and buoys• Finish line: go between the two poles that
hold the tarp• Limit of 3 hours
REMINDERS
• Minimum age: 14 years old• Competitive swimmers must abide by FINA
rules• Participants must swim the prescribed
course• No one should undertake any open water
event unless physically fit, in excellent health, and fully expected to finish
