Introduction For more than 40 years, Gerald Mayfield has led a

successful career in the corrugated industry. Possessing more than two decades of management experience, he most recently served as the regional production manager for Norampac Industries, Inc. An avid sports fan outside of work, Gerald Mayfield follows professional and college teams, including the Georgia Bulldogs.

The University of Georgia recently signed its newest member of the Bulldogs’ class of 2016: Brian Herrien, a running back from New Manchester. Throughout his football career, Mr. Herrien has shown a great deal of promise.

and drew the attention of schools such as Colorado State University, the University of Miami, and Tulane University.

Unfortunately, the senior was passed over by several teams due to academic concerns. Regardless, the Bulldogs’ head coach Kirby Smart decided to wait for him to improve his grades. Following his second semester, Mr. Herrien raised his grades and scored the necessary ACT score to become eligible. He signed financial aid paperwork in mid-May and is expected to start at the University of Georgia in the fall.
