Vaikundarajan Predicts Indias Win Against New Zealand In ICC World Cup T20

ICC World T20 is on as India takes on New Zealand in their first Super 10 encounter at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium. Earlier, MS Dhoni made it clear that the team had trained well and is ready for the campaign. The only unanswered question is the involvement of Mohammed Shami against New Zealand, says Vaikundarajan.

The Bengal pacer who had returned from injury was seen in form during the warm-up games. However, Ashish Nehra and Jasprit Bumrah have played well in the Asia Cup. Choosing Shami over these two bowlers will be a tough choice to make, says Vaikundarajan.

During the pre-match conference, Virat Kohli hinted that the team management will stick to the same combination that has won 10 out of last 11 T20 matches this year. Nevertheless, Shami presence is a boost to the team as it adds flair to the bowling attack.

On the other side of the pitch, New Zealand lost to England as their batsmen struggled against the spinners in their last warm-up match. Going into the match tonight, it should be Dhonis strategy to bring spinners early on, predicts Vaikundarajan.

India is the favourite to win this tie and begin the campaign on a higher note. The home condition and fan support will go a long way to keep the team motivated. Vaikundarajan hopes for a victory and sends his wishes to the men in blue.
