Vika was born in the gymnastic family. Father (Alexander Komov) is master of sports in artistic gymnastics, the elder brother Alexander was engaged in gymnastics, and mother Vera Kolesnikova is a master of sports in artistic gymnastics, world champion of 1985 (Montreal, Canada) in the team championship, winner of the goodwill Games in 1986. She started giving the first gymnastic lessons for five-year old Vic.

Vika participated in Japanese Junior International Competitions, Championship of Russia, Championship of Europa, XXX Summer Olympics games just to mention a few.

Vika took two silver medals at the Olympic games(2012), one gold and two silver medals at the Championship of Russia(2010) as well as the silver and two gold medals at the Cup of Russia in sports gymnastics(2011), one silver and four gold medals at the Championship of Europa(2010) and others.
