What is Content Spin?
Content Spin is a new feature in 1and1Mail that can automatically rotate various elements in your emails when they are sent out, such as subject, body, attachments or even one of the paragraphs, sentences or words in the email body.
By using Content Spin, you can generate thousands of combinations, which will make almost every of your emails look different to your email service provider or spam filter. This way, you are much less likely to be considered as a spammer or be blacklisted.
Content SpinMethod 1: Customized Macro
Customized Macro
Go to “Settings -> Customized Macro”. Click “Add” to add Macro Text.
Add Macro Text
Macro Name: the name of the Macro. No need to be unique.
Macro ID: the ID of the Macro. Must be unique.
Type (Random, In Sequence): how 1and1Mail should rotate the Macro Text below, randomly or in sequence.
Macro Text: Enter the content you want to spin line by line.
Add More Macro Text
The more Macro Text you apply in your emails, the more versions of emails you can generate. The variety is critical to your email deliverability.
Insert Macro Text into Emails
When you are editing your emails, you can insert the Macro ID into different parts of your emails. Macro Text under the same Macro ID will be rotated when the emails are sent out.

Add a New Version
By clicking the “+” icon, you can create a new version of your email with different subject, body content or attachment.
Add More Versions
Try your best to write as many versions of subjects, body contents and attachments as possible.
Select Spin Algorithm
You can choose how you want to spin between different versions:
For example, you have 3 versions: A, B and C, and 1and1Mail will send emails following the sequence below:
Send in sequence: 1. Send “Subject A + Body A + Attachment A”2. Send “Subject B + Body B + Attachment B”3. Send “Subject C + Body C + Attachment C”
Send randomly:4. Send “Subject B + Body B + Attachment B” 5. Send “Subject C + Body C + Attachment C” 6. Send “Subject A + Body A + Attachment A”
Cross match and send:7. Send “Subject B + Body A + Attachment C” 8. Send “Subject C + Body B + Attachment A” 9. Send “Subject A + Body C + Attachment B”
