Preco’s Business Challenge:

To accurately and eff iciently track t ime and make employees accountable for their dai ly activity .Preco was tracking labor on jobs manually. The job cards were collected and data was entered into their ERP and Payroll Systems. The data entry process alone took 40 hours each week.

Customer Profile: Litania Sports Group

Litania Sports Group is presently comprised of Gill Athletics, Porter Athletic, and PowerMax. LSG Corporate headquarters are in Champaign, Illinois at a newly expanded 225,000 square foot factory and office space. LSG manufacturers approximately 75% of the products it sells in its Champaign, IL factory with the balance of products made in Asia.

They distribute their products through 800 team, specialty, and catalog dealers and 30 construction dealers in the US. LSG also sells internationally through dealers in most developed countries.


Litania’s Business Challenge:ERP labor data col lection option is t ime consuming and inf lexible.Litania wanted to implement a bonus program for direct laborers based on efficiency (meeting standard rates) and applied time (utilization), among other things. The labor data collection option in Fourth Shift did not allow measuring of efficiency until the job was complete and couldn’t measure individual efficiency. Manual entry was done by supervisors because of complexity which was not the best use of supervisor time and made it difficult to be timely.
