DESCRIPTION
Effective web design must begin with a clear goal or purpose for the website. When visitors enter a website they normally start scanning from the top left. Their eyes then move to the right and then down the web page. A common mistake made in web design is to include widgets and other elements that have nothing to do with the real purpose of the website. It is best to only include those web elements that contribute to the usability of the web site. This infographic can be used as a memory jogger during your design process.
