Usability Testing Lab

Good news, but..

Here’s the new report. The numbers are looking better – after the changes we made

based on the recent usability tests.

But coming in on Saturday was no fun at all. Renting the usability lab was expensive

as well.

Yeah, I wish there was a cheaper and easier way to do the usability tests more

often.

I believe that’s precisely the problem

UserThoughts takes care of collecting feedback for us in the form of videos from our users. For example, we need to know how well our Sign Up forms are working. We’d go to UserThoughts.com and fill up a form with some details of our website

The rest is taken care of for us, by UserThoughts. In a few hours, we’d be able to watch videos of actual users using our website. As a bonus, we’d also be able to hear them talking their thoughts out loud.

I’ve just signed up at UserThoughts, created a project and asked for 4 testers to send us feedback. I’ve also asked for these users to complete some tasks on the site. Take a look..

A happy beginning

And we actually ended up spending a lot less money this time. This

now means, that we can finally do the usability testing exercise much

more often.

The UserThoughts feedback videos were fantastic. We got videos from all 4 testers within a day’s time. But

the best part? None of us had to come in on Saturday . Even

better, the feedback is available whenever and wherever we want it.

Does this mean he’ll finally let me take my

vacation? Hmm..
