Can design be universal?
Universal design refers to broad-spectrum ideas meant to produce buildings, products and environments that are inherently accessible to both people without disabilities and people with disabilities.
Some in the field assert that it is not possible to design for everyone’s needs at once, considering design choices that provide for some will leave others out (too short/tall or requiring one sense)

Can Mobile Apps be Universal?

Users of mobile devices and people with disabilities experience similar barriers when interacting with Web content. For example, mobile phone users will have a hard time if a Web site's navigation requires the use of a mouse because they typically only have an alphanumeric keypad. Similarly, desktop computer users with a motor disability will have a hard time using a Web site if they can't use a mouse. Additionally, people with disabilities may use a mobile device to access the Web site.

…building an online culture of accessibility contains two parts: the obvious support networks that can be built within social media, and the technical changes that can accommodate those who cannot access technology easily.
