DESCRIPTION

Detailed, up-to-date natural resource assessment information is increasingly important for quantitative resource management. Terrestrial LiDAR is a promising technique that could replace and/or enhance current natural resource assessment processes, specifically, Watercourse Crossings and Forest Resource Inventory. The FARO Focus X330 laser scanner was used for these applications under the direction of Woodlands North and the current status of work will be presented.
