After opening an encounter, the“Add Providers” button is available on the tool bar.

Selecting the “Add Providers” button opens The Providers and Roles window.

Additional Providers can be selected from the drop down box as depicted below or from theprovider search window shown on the next slide.

Selecting the ellipse next to the Additional Provider field opens the Clinician Search window which can be used to search for and select an additional provider.

The role drop down box can be used to document the role of the additional provider.

Procedures are selected on the Procedure tab of the A/P module.

If an additional provider has been previously added to the encounter, the Procedure Details window will open upon selection of a procedure. The appointed provider and any additional providers previously added to the encounter will be displayed in the window.

The providers who performed the proceduremust be selected and then select Ok.
