Bioengineering – research with aid of mathematical model and simulation.
Medical engineering – study , design and construction of instrumentation, sensors, prosthetics
Clinical or hospital engineering- certification and testing of medical equipments and hospital activities( design, adequacy and execution of installations, training of maintenance)
Rehabilitation engineering- development of electronic and mechanical systems for improvement of quality of life of physically challenged people .
