OVERVIEWWhen notified by a Google Alert that the Solar Impulselanding was between St. Louis and Atlanta, we started aTwitter campaign to let the Solar Impulse team know howmuch landing in St. Louis meant to us. We partnered withthe St. Louis Science Center to host a welcoming party upontheir arrival and hosted them around the city at local solarinstalls including being recognized on the field at BuschStadium and a rooftop party at the Moonrise Hotel.

THE LANDINGPartnering with the St. Louis Science Center, a landing partywas held for the Captains and team, greeting them as theplane flew in. The landing was at 3:00a.m., but the crowd

stayed strong to witness the monumental moment in historyas the first solar powered aircraft flew around the world.
