Aim safely Innovative Ballistic Concepts ASV and RAPID-Z®

Two world-exclusive developments allowing for defined, ac-

curate aiming via holdover points or indexed holdover lines

instead of intuitive correction through “holding over.“ Both de-

velopments are based on extensive long-range shooting expe-

rience and can be adjusted flexibly to changing distances and

different loads.

Leading-edge Accuracy

The patented ballistic reticle RAPID-Z® developed by Carl Zeiss

allows for accurate aiming via the corresponding holdover line,

even on long-distance shots. The hunter just needs to measure

the distance without using ballistic charts or rough calcula-

tions.

Amazing Details FL Concept

At the heart of the high-performance concept is an outstanding

lens structure based on high-performance fluoride glass – or

FL for short. Unsurpassed bright images, maximum resolution,

sharpness of every detail, colour fidelity and high contrasts form

the optical base for utmost target accuracy.

Utmost reliability and repeatable accuracy of the Victory FL

Diavari riflescopes are based on maximum precision in optics

and mechanics. The parallax compensation prevents the target

point from shifting when looking through the eyepiece in an

angled view. Even with maximum magnification, reticle and tar-

get image can be focused to any distance. The wide adjusting

range of the reticle elevation is perfect for long-range shots,

even with standard loads or heavy bullets.

The Victory Diavari FL riflescopes bring the experience of an im-

peccable view to perfection. The LotuTec® coating on objective

and ocular lens ensures that water is repelled immediately and

dirt can be removed without residue.

The reticle of the Victory FL Diavari riflescopes is on the second

image plane. It remains constant throughout the whole magni-

fication range providing minimum target coverage with high

magnifications and over long shooting distances, thus suppor-

ting accurate target shots.

Accurate AimingThe Innovative Bullet Drop Compensation feature ASVControlled shooting with every load even over long distances: The Bullet Drop Compensation (ASV) feature by Carl Zeiss offers the possibility to exactly adjust the target distance quickly and easily, immediately before the shot.

“Holding over“ with shooting distances exceeding the zeroing range often is based on estimation and makes it difficult to ac-curately hit the target. Aiming exactly at the point where the shot is supposed to hit the target results in the most accurate shot. Thus the ASV provides maximum accuracy – even over longer distances.

This compact all-rounder is ideal for hunting in your home hun-

ting grounds, in the mountains, or abroad. Thanks to its short

overall length and low weight, the 4-16x50 T* FL is the first

choice for lightweight bolt action rifles or sleek single shot rifles.

6 – 24 x 56 T* FL

When it comes to high-performance riflescopes, the 6-24x56 T*

FL is one that suits almost every field of application in hunting.In

your home hunting grounds, its excellent optical performance

allows you to shoot accurately over long ranges. When hunting

in the mountains or abroad, it even replaces the spotting scope.

Due to the large lens diameter, the 6-24x56 T* FL provides

bright, crystal clear images deep into twilight.

6 – 24 x 72 T* FL

Extremely high-performing and bright tele-riflescope offering

unsurpassed contrast and sharpness of every detail throughout

the whole magnification range. The 6-24x72 T* FL is the solid

base for accuracy, even at the longest ranges and with adverse

lighting conditions like deep twilight or weak moonlight. Its

above-average, large exit pupil eases quick target acquisition.

Accurate Shooting

RAPID-Z® 7Safe Aiming over Indexed Holdover Lines

Even when under great pressure, the hunter can easily read

the indexed holdover lines of the RAPID-Z® 7. With the magni-

fication changer the reticle can be adjusted to conform with

different ballistic data. By combining these characteristics, Carl

Zeiss revolutionised shooting practice, turning RAPID-Z® into a

concept which is second to none throughout the world.

The five included ASV strips are subdivided into 50 metre increments from 100 to 300 metres and 25 metre increments from 300 to 400 metres.

When pushing down the ASV ring, it locks safely and thus is protected against unin-tentional use. In order to shoot your regular distance again, the ASV ring is simply returned to zero.

… and twist it in precise clicks until the desired distance is adjusted. Every click changes the elevation adjustment of the target point.

ASV Precisely Adjusting the Shooting Distance With every riflescope featuring the ASV, two sets of five ASV

strips being scaled differently are included. Thus, the ASV co-

vers all popular hunting calibres. Based on the ballistic data of

the used loads, the corresponding ASV strip is selected. It is

then mounted on the ASV ring by your qualified dealer. Your

Carl Zeiss dealer will also provide comprehensive advice on the

correct ASV strip and the retrofitting of riflescopes.
