Chemical/ Physical Change!!!!

Physical & chemical def.
*Physical change- occurs when there is a change in the form or phase.
*Chemical change- occurs when new substances are produced with new chemical properties.
This is chemical change!
This is physical change!
Examples of Chemical Change!
*When mixing baking soda & vinegar that makes an explosion, is called a Chemical Change.
* The reason why this would be a chemical change is when you combine the baking soda & vinegar together, the vinegar chemical inside of it would mix with the baking soda that would make a Chemical Reaction.
Example of Physical Change!
• When a pot of water is put on a fire to boil, is considered a Physical Change.
• Why this would be a physical change is because when the water starts to boil it would change from a liquid to a gas.
