Prime Factorization

Prime factorization-is breaking down composite numbers into prime numbers and multiplying the prime numbers to get the original number. Ex.28, 28/2=14,14/2=7, 28=2x2x7 You multiply the divisor(s) and answer to

get the original number Say it is a prime number, you would do

nothing to it, it is already prime. Ex. 19=19, you can not divide it any more.
