Parasitism is a symbiotic relationship in which one organism benefits and one could be harmed.

Raccoons have worms living in them that could harm them .

The tape worms are eating things and reproducing in side of a raccoon but they could be affected buy the tape worm. When raccoons decompose the worms eggs are in them so when other animals eat it they will have the worms eggs in them and the cycle keeps going.

Raccoons are the host for worms and other parasites the relationship between raccoons and tape worms are that tapeworms are eating things in raccoons but raccoons could be affected by the worms. The worm benefits and raccoon doesn't.
