DEUS marks a technological breakthrough and is a real innovation in metal detector

design. Its patented architecture is based on three elements :

A Coil, a Remote Control and a set of Audio Headphones, which are unique in that they

communicate with each other via a digital radio link. The search coil contains the essential

components for processing the signals, which no longer need to be conveyed via a wire

link but are digitized and analyzed directly at source by an ultra-miniature digital circuit,

which greatly improves the quality of signal acquisition. This circuit, which is integrated in

the detection head, processes the information and sends it to the headphones and

remote control in real time via a radio link.

Deus gives you the choice of four detection frequencies:

4 kHz, 8 kHz, 12 kHz and 18 kHz + Shift plus/minus.

These frequencies cover most detection needs. They enable you to adapt your research more closely to the characteristics of the ground and the targets to be detected.

ReactivityThe Reactivity is a vitalsetting that determines thedetector’s performance interms of how quickly itanalyses the signal fromdetected objects and itsability to separate thesignals from two targetslocated close together. Thisis also known as RecoveryTime.


ExamplePassing the coil over an iron object close to the surface then over a land mine.

With a low Reactivity level, the nail isdetected for a longer duration, to theextent that it completely hides themine.

With a medium Reactivity level, youbegin detecting the mine. The audiosignal partially indicates the target.

A high Reactivity level enables you todistinguish the mine completely fromthe nail. The audio signal fully indicatesthe target.

The WS4 and the WS5 alone can control the detector,enabling you to go detecting with an even moreportable configuration. Target Identification

This claim about T2 refers to target conductivity meter. It

allows probable identification of target metal by reading

conductivity level because conductivity of every metal is usually different than other.

DEUS offers both Analog and Digital Conductivity Meters, allowing better

identification.

Target Depth Indication

This claim about T2 is just a selling gimmick. Practically, this options is not usable because

T2’s own manual says that:

When the trigger is pulled to facilitate pinpointing an object, the numerical

display indicates the approximate depth of the object, in inches, based

on the assumption that the object is a typical US coin. Small objects will read

deeper than they actually are, and large objects will usually read

shallower than they actually are.

However, practice with good mine detectors

like DEUS makes it possible to predict

target metal depth or size by different type of

tones.

CONCLUSIONXP DEUS is far better than

CONCLUSIONXP DEUS is far better than VALLON VMH3 because of many advantages over

VALLON.

Only advantage that VALLON offers over DEUS is mil standard certification, which is about environmental conditions only i.e. Shock Resistance, Water Resistance etc. Mil Standard Certification has nothing to do with product functions or detection

technology.
