Once these two companies became part of Perficient, it was important to be able to see all customers within one SFDC environment. Perficient used the Informatica cloud solution to quickly and easily connect to each sales force environments and integrate the data into one sales force environment.

Results

Quick installation of cloud solution

Easily connected to SFDC data with the provided connector

Retail Case Example

SituationRetail company owns and operates approximately 80 retail stores across the state. Each retail store produces daily cash register data about each transaction. This NCR cash register data was only being captured at the summary level and was not useful for the detailed analysis that was needed. The company needed a better solution that would capture detail NCR cash register data and integrate it into a centralized data warehouse.

Results Perficient developed a data integration solution that captured the detailed cash register data from each store

every 15 minutes.

This data was consolidated and pushed to an Amazon Redshift data warehouse using Informatica Cloud as the data integration solution.

By using the Informatica NCR XML connector and the Amazon Redshift connector, this solution needed very little specialized coding and could be implemented in weeks rather than months.

Technology that was used: Informatica Cloud, NCR XML connector, Amazon Redshift and the Amazon Redshift connector.

Lessons Learned & Benefits Quick implementation of a robust and comprehensive massive parallel processing data warehouse solution

Low cost solution by utilizing both Informatica Cloud and Amazon Redshift

Improved analytics capability for near real time transaction data

High performance and reliable solution that is flexible and adaptable to their changing needs.
