On-the-fly-Segmentation a.k.a. Bucket Fields Companies will have the ability to categorize any

aspect of their business (e.g. customers, deals, employees) on the fly

Add up to five bucket fields per report, each with up to 20 buckets.

Companies will be able to cross filter and manipulate report and analytics data based on any object.

Create up to three cross filters per report.

Add up to five subfilters for each cross filter.

Power of Enterprise Reporting a.k.a. Joined Reports Companies will be able to look across multiple

pieces of the business.

You can create up to 5 "blocks" within a joined report. 

Each "block" can have up to 5 of it's own filters.

Summer ‘12 Sandbox preview

The Sandbox Preview window for Summer ‘12 is scheduled to begin May 11, 2012. If you would like your Sandbox organization to take part in the Summer ’12 Preview, your Sandbox will be upgraded on May 11, 2012. If you decide to stay on the current Spring ’12 release, your Sandbox will not be upgraded to Summer ‘12 until June 9, 2012. You may need to take action by May 4, 2012 in order to sign-up for the Summer ’12 Preview.

What Do I Need to Do?Plan for the Preview: From now until May 4, 2012, decide if you would like your Sandbox to take part in the Summer ’12 Preview. Follow the steps below for each Sandbox org that you have.
