People• Why was the discovery of King Tut’s

tomb such a significant development for archaeologists?

• In order to please the Pharaoh, their pyramids would be filled with gold, gemstones, and other expensive gifts.

• This was well-known, so many people snuck in and stole things from the tombs

• King Tut’s tomb was unique because no one had stolen anything from it over thousands of years, so we got to see how much wealth and luxury was really given to their dead leaders.
