THE GOAL

To shine a light from space on people and groups doing amazing things to make life better on our fragile oasis

THE DESIGN CHALLENGE

• Use the unique perspective of life in space to inspire people to improve life on Earth

• Get the word out that the International Space Station is an incredible global asset

• Highlight the scientific advancements being accomplished on the International Space Station

• Encourage students to strive for academic excellence

• Allow people to vicariously experience living and working in space through crew members living on the International Space Station
