Each of our 5 member organizations brings a critical set of unique abilities to help foster the growth of new technologies and fuel cell firms. Together, our members create a welcoming environment for partners to thrive locally in Columbia, S.C. and in the global industry.

The Fuel Cell Collaborative’s mission is to discover, develop and deploy the world’s leading fuel cell technologies from the heart of the Palmetto State.

With one of the state’s two hydrogen fueling stations, the City of Columbia is a prime metropolitan area for launching pilot programs with hydrogen and fuel cell vehicles or backup power, and showcasing public demonstrations like existing units at the University of South Carolina and the U.S. Army’s Fort Jackson.
