The GT e-Seal is installed through the container door’s lock loops. The container door lever can’t be accessed without removing the e-Seal. The single-use e-Seal’s shaft must be cut to be removed. The multi-use e-Seal can be removed by removing its cap from the shaft and drawing it through the lock loops.

Globe Tracker’s partner Reefer Control Unit Interface is installed in the Reefer Control Unit and connected to the Reefer Control Unit’s interface port and the GT Communications Unit.

Globe Tracker Cargo Trackers are integrated into Smart Pallets and communication with a container’s GT Communications Unit when inside the cargo area. The GT Communications Unit reports when the Smart Pallet arrives in the cargo area and when leaves.

A number of independent Sub GHz Wireless Sensors can be installed in the container’s cargo area to monitor sound, light, temperature, humidity, vibration, shock, gases, etc. Data from these sensors is incorporated into the data that is sent by the container’s GT Communications Unit’s to the cloud where it is recorded and analyzed for appropriate action.

The GT Rail Car System supports GT’s door eSeal which continuously monitors the container’s door open / closed status and reports it to the container’s GT Communications Unit. The GT Communications Unit can be programmed to “push” a cloud communications cycle when the eSeal status changes.
