The app also recommends tours connecting points of interest in the city. There are already packages for more than thirty European cities and new cities are constantly being added. GoOV enables people with mental disabilities or dementia to travel safely by public transport; GoOV constantly monitors progress to ensure a safe and timely arrival at their destination. GoOV is an app on a smartphone that communicates with several open databases for public transport, GPS, Google maps.If a pre-set destination is chosen, GoOV provides ‘the best’ route, based on pre-set personal preferences programmed in the portal.
