2. Tri lobe Screwdriver

Warning

1. Discharge static electricity before beginning

2. work on static free Surface

Part 1

Remove original battery from Laptop

Step 1 — Lower Case:

1. Remove the ten screws from the lowercase of the

laptop

2. As show in image use convenient screwdriver to

bring out screws

Step 2 :

Use your fingers to pry the lower case away from the body

of the MacBook near the vent.

Step 3:

Remove the lower case.

Step 4 - Remove Battery Connection:

Use the edge of a spudger to pry the Battery connector

upwards from its socket on the logic board.

It is useful to pry upward on both short sides of the

connector to "walk" it out of its socket. Be careful with the

corners of the connectors, they can be easily broken off.

Bend the battery cable slightly away from its socket on

the logic board so it does not accidentally connect itself

while you work.

Step 4:

Remove two screws of the battery to make battery

free from Surface:

Step 5 – Remove screw of the battery:

1. Carefully peel the battery warning label off the upper case between the battery and the optical drive.

2. But do not remove the label from the battery.

Step 6 – Remove The warning label of battery:

Use the attached plastic pull tab to remove the battery

from the Upper case.

Step 7 – Remove battery from laptop

To reassemble your

device, follow these

instructions in reverse

order.
