How do you connect your Kindle Fire to PC? This question seems meaningless. You may say “Just use a USB cable!”. But we all know that cable connection is always inconvenient. You have to find a right cable, you have to be cautious not be trapped by the cable and you can’t use your device freely as the cable is short!
So you need a wireless connection!
This article shows you how to connect your Kindle Fire to PC wirelessly. Just use a wireless router and you don’t need to root Kindle Fire.
First, connect your Kindle Fire to WIFI. Make sure the WIFI is at the same local area network with your PC.
Then you have to install ES File Explore on you Kindle Fire, You can find it at Amazon App Store.
Open ES File Explorer and choose “ Remote Manager” tool. You can refer the picture below.
Choose “Turn on” and you’ll get an ftp address. Type the address at the address bar of “Computer” on your PC.
Now you can access the SD card of your Kindle Fire. Just transfer any files you want to this folder freely.
To make the wireless connection stable, I suggest you set some options. Navigate to Remote Manager again and tap “Settings”. Tap “Close on exit” to make it unchecked (It’s checked by default).
