How to create an Animated Screen Saverfor your mobile with Flash CS5 and Device
Central.
Open Adobe Device Central CS5 and select Browse Devices.
The Device Library will show all of thedevices that you can create content for using Adobe
products. Find your target device (your mobile) and select it, right click and select Download Device Profile. Right click
again on your device and select Add to Test Devices.
Select your target device from the Test Devices panel. You will see the profile for your device. This contains info
about the Flash Lite Version for your device. For my Nokia 6300,the version is Flash Lite 2.0 and the Display Size is 240 x 320px.
Take note of this info as you’ll need it in the next step.
Select the Create tab at the top. You should see your device appear.
In the Player Version drop down menu, select the version of Flashthat your device is compatible with. In my case, it is 2.0. Next to
this menu, click Set to Fullscreen.
Ensure Use Customised Size is selected and enter the displaysize that you found in the Profile of your device. In my case, it
is 240 x 320px.
Create a short traditionalanimation. Do this by designing
your character in the first keyframe. Then click on the next
Frame and press F6 to add a newkeyframe. Make some changes
In this new keyframe. Repeat this process until you have a short
animation sequence.
