Store submission means how a user submits his/her website URL to a search engine

It is a method used to communicate to a search engine about your new store

Store submission to search engines increases your store’s online visibility

Store submission helps redirect online traffic to your Goo2o powered store

Step 1: Visit link http://www.google.com/addurl/?continue=/addurl by clicking on it, or

pasting the url in your browser address bar

Once you are on the ‘Add your URL to Google’ page, you will see the

following fields

Step 2: In the URL field enter your store URL, e.g. http://www.yourstorename.com

Step 3: In the ‘Comments’ field, add text which gives a short summary about your

store

Tip: comments should answer basic questions about your store i.e. What is

your store about? And what does it do? Keep it short around 50 words

Step 4: In the captcha field type the alphabets as shown in the picture box

Make sure the text you type is exactly the same as shown in the picture

Step 5: The final step involves:

Great! You have now successfully added your store URL to Google



Check the information that you have entered and make

… corrections if necessary

Click on ‘Add URL’ button to successfully submit your store



How to submit store to Yahoo

Step 1: Login with your yahoo account at http://yahoo.com

After logging in, visit the following link

http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/ , by pasting it in your browser or

clicking on it

After entering this link, you will be directed to the following page

Step 2: Enter your store URL in the ‘Add My Site’ field

(E.g. http://www.yourstorename.com)

Click on ‘Add My Site’ button to submit your store to yahoo

How to submit store to Bing

Step 1: Visit the following page

http://www.bing.com/webmaster/SubmitSitePage.aspx by clicking on the URL or pasting the URL in your browser

Once you enter the link you will be directed to the following page:





Step 2: Type the alphabets as shown in the picture box in the ‘Characters’ field

Make sure there are no errors while typing the alphabets

Step 4: Cross check the information added, make corrections if necessary

Click ‘Submit URL’

Do not use every search engine submission tool to submit your store URL.

Adding your store to the mentioned tools is more than adequate

Do not re-submit your store URL too frequently, as this may act as

spamming

Submitting each and every page of your store is not required. Just add your

homepage URL
