Pick Me ($1.99 or free)This great little App is wonderful for tracking formative assessment. Pick Me! will randomly grab a student’s name out of the roster for you to call on. You can then mark if the student answered correctly or incorrectly. Data is saved and can be exported to your email at the end of class. With many different settings, PickMe! can be configured to remove the students who answer correctly from the list or kept in the rotation.

Use this app to create Flashcards for studying terms and concepts. You can create Flashcards in the Evernote app ( must have an Evernote.com account) and send them to your students to study.

Common Core (free)As the new CCGPS is arriving in the fall, this app is a great quick-reference to have when creating your lesson plans. Complete with both ELA and Math standards, the app also contains lesson plans and teacher tips.

So many new apps come on the market each day, it's almost impossible to sift through them to find good ones. Appshopper is the app form of a website that alerts you to when your favorite apps are on sale as well as highlighting apps with good reviews.

Users must make an account at Dropbox.com. Have all of your school documents in one place with Dropbox. Simply upload them to the cloud based server and you can download them using the Dropbox app from anywhere. Forgot to upload tonight's homework and left your laptop at school? Just download it from Dropbox, then upload it to your website.
