WHAT’S IT ALL ABOUT?

Apple has been known to come up with some pretty innovative features for its products – who can deny the genius of being able to answer calls and messages received on your iPhone from your Mac or iPad device.

Apple Continuity allows all devices to seamlessly connect with each other, provided that they are all on the same wireless network.

APPLE BREAKING WIRELESS BOUNDARIES

Apple and T-Mobile together have announced the impending release of an all-new Continuity feature as part of the iOS 9. It will allow all Apple devices to connect with each other, regardless of what wireless network each may be on.

This enables users to send and receive calls and text messages on their Mac and iPad even when their iPhone is connected on a different wireless network.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR T-MOBILE?

T-Mobile’s decision to have Continuity on their network makes them the first mobile network in the world to offer such a service.

iOS 9 has been updated to include various other features including a switch, which activates ‘Calls on Other Devices’ to give users the ability to toggle between which devices to receive calls on.
