Scope of IT room Infrastructure AssessmentData must be collected and processed in order to provide the deliverables in a report, as well as floor plans showing equipment layout to scale. Our consultants will validate if the access and working spaces are efficient.

Part of their extensive assessment include the review of electrical distribution, quality of electrical power for harmonic distortion, overheating of neutrals, transformers and induction motors, deterioration or failure of power factor correction capacitors and pronounced magnetic fields near transformers and switchgear. We possess the most modern tools required to perform at maximum accuracy.Wiring distribution will be also checked using a variety of methods, such as currents measures, magnetic fields and static .

Scope of Thermal AssessmentCooling is the neuralgic concern in most Data Centers and offices, which is why checking temperature, humidity and airflow is so important. This service takes special care to collect temperature in different points within a Data Center. To do that we are using data loggers with an external temperature sensor.

IT room infrastructure service assessment

Optional assessment areas:

Fire protection

Shutdown controls

Environmental monitoring systems

Power quality

Maintenance levels of data center support equipment

Thermal Concise Overview

Analysis of space, power, and cooling, to identify, determine and eliminate cooling issues

Airflow diagram

Under-floor and overhead airflow obstructions scanning

Equipment row orientation best practices

Additionally to Concise service:

Recommended for effective relocation of air conditioners if needed no limited to Placement and cooling potential of perforated airflow panels or grilles

recommendations

Thermal modeling will examine supply airflows only. We will model "what if" scenarios to determine alternative solutions to cooling issues that it is observed as part of the assessment.

Written report will be provided that will include observations, thermal modeling results, and recommendations for improvement.

Thermal Midway Overview

Thermal Exhaustive AssessmentAdditionally to Midway service:

The thermodynamics beneath a raised floor (if applicable), above the floor, and above the ceiling (if applicable) are included.

Static pressures, airflow distribution, and temperature gradients.

Monitoring of air conditioning performance.

Multiple cooling system (if applicable); e.g., redundant systems.

Power consumption and thermal load of individual equipment racks.

Dimensional Diagram of the entire data center.

Strongly suggested

•As a Base Line of your IT Computer Room environment parameters.•Let you know how efficiently you are using the environmental resources.•Knowledge about IT Computer Room risks.•Prevent downtimes applying Data Center best practices.•Be sure the environment is appropriate to receive new equipment.•Improve IT computer Room to a new Class Level.
