SUMMARY

IAQ Profile is a visual presentation of indoor air quality. In profiling IAQ, full recognition is given to time as a dimension and the air-quality parameters to be measured are specified. Utilizing state-of-the-art technology in automatic air monitoring, data logging, computerization and information technology, IAQ profiling is quantitative and can be accurate, precise, labour saving and cost effective. Examples are given to illustrative that IAQ Profiles of air-conditioned indoor environments are reproducible from day to day and at different measurement points, which enables IAQ Profile to be used as a standard for communication and for indoor air management, controls and legislation.
