LOOKS about the behavior of creative peopleJaciara de Memena

Understanding creativity:

One of the main 'fuel' for creativity is imagination. This is an intrinsic aspect of the human being that enables you to combine work and ideas and facts known to generate new ideas. Imagination allows the individual to form abstract ideas and is closely associated with the ability to create.

Creative people have levels of consciousness and attention more than others. This gives them a high sensitivity, and are always willing to see new possibilities and find new relationships between things. It also noted that they have two lines of thinking: convergent and divergent.

The divergent thinking is part of human nature. The creative people are used to 'triggers' or simple ideas to develop more complex ideas. During the creative process, they make use of components of creativity that help the creative moment. Thus, creative people:

They conduct investigative and asking questions, seeking answers in detail. Generate many ideas, evaluating alternative solutions. Seek innovative solutions and hitherto unimagined. Are bold in seeking solutions. They easily abstract and conceptualize new ideas.

Individuals rationing so divergent are easier to develop and design several original ideas. Moreover, they are obsessed in finding solution to a problem and work with a number of ideas, faster and simultaneously, to find a solution.

The reasoning is a convergent thinking in which the individual seeks the right solution to a problem. This is similar to solving a problem of physics or mathematics as presented in a book.

In this way of thinking, they make use of logical reasoning and evaluative in order to identify the real scope of the problem and reduce the universe of appropriate solutions to the problem. This involves trying to find criteria that limit what solutions are appropriate to the problem that you have on hand. This line of reasoning is used when one wants to assess and evaluate a set of data and ideas to be used to solve a problem and generate a new idea.

If you were asked to identify the personality traits of a creative person, what would be your response? Stop for five minutes, try to remember the times that you experienced where innovative ideas were presented.

Which profile creative person you got?

Your answer should involve at least five personality traits. These traits mature as a person circumvents any locks moments of creation.

The moment of creation of an individual is similar to the time of discovery of a child. Both are with unlimited time, without pressure for results, unsupervised and with sharp perception and imagination. It can be argued that the naivete of a child helps in the process of discovery and learning from it. The same is true in the creative moment, in case of discovery, in which the brain does not work in search of an idea and, suddenly, a flash occurs.

A creative person has patterns of behavior, which can be identified by your comments. The behavior of a creative individual is the result of compilation of traits. His behavior is molded from the development of their skills and non-occurrence of blockages in the maturation of their creativity. This process of 'cutting' of a creative individual is with exercise and incorporation of certain standards of behavior inherent in the creative process. Examples of these include: Extreme curiosity; Persistence in the face of obstacles; Independence in their attitudes; Tolerance to situations of ambiguity and disorder; Resourcefulness and resourcefulness in carrying out activities; Determination to explore alternative solutions; Ability to undertake long efforts.Creative people have a 'mobility' reasoning incredible. They can easily understand and find new approaches and perspectives where ideas and solutions can be employed. Also, they tend to work with contrary ideas and unrelated in the creative process. Moreover, they make use of analogies and metaphors when seeking a solution or when they try to challenge any assumptions. Creative people are children. During the discovery of the children, they tend to explore, experiment and learn from mistakes. This is how they adjust and reorganize your ideas and use imagination. The individual creative works similarly in creative moments. Note that this type of behavior and skill does not fit within the standards of review found in schools and universities. These are life skills. Can seen many students graduate with an A (with grades between 9.0 and 10.0) who were unable to do research. There was a case of a girl, a doctoral student of a renowned North American institution, who had excellent grades, that is, only the concept in its history. However, this girl was not able to present a proposal for a doctoral thesis.

At the time, her supervisor (and the institution) that was considered most important for students to have the history a remarkable set of notes helped in the formulation of the problem is not treated as well as the possible solutions that could be employed. This is an example of intelligent person, but little creativity. Today, that person is employed in a large company and play an exemplary manner its duties. Although she is a highly qualified person to solve problems, someone needs to formulate the problem and points to possible solution. Therefore, intelligence is not everything. Intelligence is not evidence of creativity. Intelligence includes the ability to learn and reason. However, as we saw in the example above, a number of excellent grades, averaging between 9.0 and 10.0, does not allow us to qualify the person as creative as well.
