How-to: Search Member Directory and Contact a Member
Mentoring Directory
Log into HuskyLink and click on Mentoring Directory in the left hand navigation menu.
Search for Mentors
Search for your criteria. The more broad your search the more possible mentors will be displayed. To show all mentors, leave all fields blank and click search.
Search for Mentors
Click on the mentors name to display profile
Click on the Mentoring tab to display mentor profile
How-to: Contact a Mentor
Contact Mentor
Click on the icon to send potential mentor an email.
Sample Email
Dear Matt,
My name is Brent Burns and I am a 3rd year Mechanical Engineering student at Michigan Tech. I saw your profile in the Michigan Tech Mentoring Program and would like to request to have you as my mentor.
I am interested in the defense industry and I see you have some experience in that field. I would like to ask you more questions regarding your company. I also see you have worked in California, a location in which I am interested in relocating to.
I look forward to your reply.
