This has enabled the DB4 to take the Master Mix as it's Record source. Now you'll want to open Traktor, hit the preferences, and go to INPUT ROUTING:

Set Input Deck A to 1: IN 1, 2: IN 2. This enables it to receive the Send 1 - Record that we set on the DB4 earlier.

Next, click on the Mix Recorder, and set Source to External; External Input - Input Deck A. If you have a specific place you'd like your mix recordings to end up, you can set it under File/Directory.

From there you can close the preference, and go to the Mix/Record layout. Load a track and let it play - when you bring up the Master Mix, you'll see the meters on the Mix Recorder jump, and press the Record button to begin your session.

Be sure to watch your levels and avoid clipping; there is no forgiveness with this method of recording. The peak lights on the DB4 let you know that you're coming close, and if Traktor's Mix Recorder is registering clipping, you're coming in too hot. It's best to adjust your mix technique before you roll back the Record Setup trim, or the Mix Recorder input gain. Always start with the source - in this case it's you! Be sure to watch your levels and stay away from clipping!
