1). Glass is a technical masterpiece. It

combines numerous functions and features

in a very small unit. In addition to phone and

camera (photo, video), it offers Internet

connection, including GPS.

2). In the Google Glass contains a mini-

projector, which projected the layer via a

clever, semi-transparent prism directly on the

retina in the eye. Because of this the image,

even though it is so close to the eye, is sharp

and clear.

Abilities of Google

glass

Google Glass has the ability to take photos and record 720p HD video. While video is recording, a recording light is displayed above the eye.

A touchpad is located on the side of Google Glass, allowing users to control the device by swiping through a timeline-like interface displayed on the screen. Sliding backward shows current events, such as weather, and sliding forward shows past events, such as phone calls, photos, circle updates, etc.

Voice activation..

Other than the touchpad, Google Glass can be controlled using "voice actions". To activate Glass, wearers tilt their heads 30° upward (which can be altered for preference) or tap the touchpad, and say "O.K., Glass. Once Glass is activated, wearers can say an action, such as "Take a picture", "Record a video", "Hangout with persons.

What is a Eye Trap ? An Eye Trap is a device that is worn in

front of the eye that acts as a camera to

record the scene available to the eye.

This structure allows the user's eye to

operate as both a monitor and a camera.

What is “SIXTH SENSE”

Technology?

All of us are aware of ‘FIVE SENSES’ –

Seeing ,feeling ,smelling, tasting &

Hearing. But there is also another sense

called ‘SIXTH SENSE’ .

It is basically a connection to something

greater than to what their physical senses

are able to perceive.

Traffic accidentsIndia contributes 6 % of the

world's road accident deaths By this improving

technology our car will do the concentrating for us.

WHAT IS DRIVERLESSCAR

[DRIVES ITSELF FROMONE POINT TO OTHER POINT]

Page 27: New Upcoming Technologies

The Google Driverless Car is like any car, but:

It can steer itself while looking out for obstacles.

It can accelerate itself to the correct speed limit.

It can stop and go itself based on any traffic condition.

It can take its passengers anywhere it wants to go safely, legally, and

comfortably.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE:

Google Maps and the hardware sensors data are sent to the AI.

AI then determines:

how fast to accelerate when to slow down/stop when to steer the wheel

Goal of AI

The agent's goal is to take the passenger to its desired destination safely and legally

Page 34: New Upcoming Technologies

ADVANTAGES:

managing traffic flow to increase road capacity.

to avoid accidents

increasing roadway capacity by reducing the distances between cars

The current location of vehicle can be determined using global positioning system(G.P.S)

Page 35: New Upcoming Technologies

DISADVANTAGES:

If the vehicle is using internet which is have less security then From the hackers point of view in some cases the vehicle can be switched off on the road(in rare cases)

Hackers can change the rout which is plotted in the system(in rare cases)

In case of failure of main sensor and backup sensors the vehicle can create a chance of accident

NANO TECHNOLOGY

Nanotechnology is nothing but

manipulation of atoms, molecules

and materials to form structures on

the scale of nanometers .

These nanostructures typically

exhibit new properties or behaviours

due to quantum mechanics.

Electrical Applications-

2) Nano-steel• We all know that steel is an

important part in the construction the body of a car, but the conventional steel itself holds 30% of the cost of the car.

• Along with strength it also can resist the fluctuation in temperature.

• It will be soon seen on roads.

3) Nanotechnology in cosmetics1). Titanium nitride was approved as a Nano sized recycling aide for polyethylene terephthalate (PET) used as food contact material.2). Improved stability of ingredients.3). Controlled release of ingredients.4). Improved skin hydration.5). No or low carrier biotoxicity.

HOW IS GLASS ESSENTIAL

?

Glass is essential to making this vision a reality.

Smart glass, Magic Glass, or switchable glass, also called smart windows or switchable windows in its application to windows or skylights.

The use of smart glass can save costs for heating, air-conditioning and lighting
