In order to create effective solutions, we need to understand the

dynamics which surround them. The most resounding observation

about solutions is the fact that they create change. Change is difficult,

demands effort and concentration. Most often we congratulate

ourselves on having accomplished change. Change by itself is useless,

unless it results in superior business practice. This brings us to the most

startling fact of all about solutions. 80% of all solutions get lost in the

execution. That’s because people tend to confuse the action of change

with the solution. This is as far from the truth as one can get. The

solution is an entity that has to be managed and supported so that the

change it is causing doesn’t dilute its power.

At Nihilent, we bring a holistic approach to solution management.

Change is always about behaviour. It could be process

behaviour, thought behaviour or interaction behaviour. When we

create a solution, it is behaviour that gets affected first. For the

solution to take hold and work effectively, behavioural change has

to be managed to perfection.

At Nihilent, we have worked out metrics that help us keep

track of things that many people may dismiss as abstract.

Motivation, learning spirit, desire to innovate etc. are the keys to

business success. It makes little sense to leave critical aspects like

knowledge sharing and skill up-gradation to chance. All these
