OGSD 7.0 is the most comprehensive release
ever for logistic processes in the Oil & Gas
downstream area.
Customers benefit from a wide range of
applications that help to streamline the complete
logistics process from order taking to delivery.
With OGSD 7.0 many applications now come
with a completely new UI using state-of-the-art
browser based technology.

Product Version OGSD 7.0
OGSD 7.0 Software Architecture
The product version OGSD 7.0 comes with two separate
software components that both can be installed as Add-
ons.
• Oil and Gas Secondary Distribution 700
• Bulk Secondary Logistics Management 100
The OGSD 700 Add-on provides solutions for logistic
automation and service stations plus many classic OGSD
applications and requires the Business Function Set Oil &
Gas to be active at installation time.
The BSLM 100 Add-on can be installed on a standard ECC
system and provides an interactive truck dispatch
solution. More scenarios can be activated if BFS Oil & Gas
is activated in the system.

PAT Data Collation
Logistics automation with Data Collation has always been a strength of OGSD. With OGSD 7.0
PAT becomes the new foundation for Data Collation.
Customers will benefit from:
Improved performance
With Data Collation on PAT all processes are posted trough BAPIs
The need for Batch Input is completely eliminated
New User Interface
• PAT uses WebDynpro Floor Plan Manager as UI technology
• Data Collation can now be used in a Web Browser
Higher robustness
• With the new posting logic Data Collation is now robust against any changes in the application UI in MM and
SD

PAT Data Collation - Business benefits
Ease of use: the user concentrates on the business process, not a sequence of transactions
High trough-put: posting one Data Collation document posts many logistics documents at once
Data consistency: copy control from reference document and checks guarantee consistency
Automation: external TAS systems can be integrated using IDocs and OGSD interfaces
