Using materials with a rich history in our region as well as materials that have an aspiring future in our environment.

Reflecting on an earlier time when everything moved at a slower pace and generations read, held discourse, darned and contemplated by the soft, gently flickering light of a lantern and campfire...the warmth associated with an 'open flame' is an area we'd like to focus development of the artificial light within the Action Center. A mix of streamlined and sculptural forms, with carefully selected materials, that would function like lanterns of yore, but with the energy efficiency of modern LED technology.
...Natural Light
An installation with the same effect as dappled light through a tree canopy. Using light and the arc of the sun path throughout the seasons and camera obscura of the streetcar.
...Embedded light
Light emitting 'wallpaper' and clocks would enable a variety of effects and information that integrates with materials.
LED Campfire ‘pit groups’ where groups of people can gather and commune...like mankind has always done...
