Past Student Evaluation Analysis

Initial Opinion

The first thing I noticed was the large array of technology used for this analysis

This shows that lots of effort was put in to the project

It also makes it more engaging

The use of a video chat was very appropriate

It was engaging and well scripted

The talking was fluent and informative

Overall this has shown that if I am to do a video chat it must be well prepared and informative

I also liked the use of frames within frames to aid with description

However it might be a good idea to record whilst the hoover is not in use!

Once we reach question 2, things become a little difficult to read due to the font and small text size

This is partly because of the use of Prezi

The use of images was helpful in explaining the text

I like how Lew described and explained various techniques/elements before evaluating his own work

This is something that would be good to include in my evaluation

There is also evidence here of using skills other than media for the evaluation which I will probably also incorporate

The use of media terms makes the presentation look very professional and shows that Lew knows what he is talking about

This evaluation is extremely in depth and has had lots of effort put in to it

My initial impressions of the Glogster post for Q4 was that it is a little bit cluttered

However the arrows do help us to understand where we should be looking

Lew has been self critical throughout the evaluation which I liked as it shows a balanced view

The final question was once again very descriptive and well put together with helpful screenshots

However the ‘hoover’ in the background sounded even worse due to the cutting between audio!

Conclusion

I found Lew’s conclusion to be extremely in depth and informative, mine must also meet this standard

It was also engaging due to the variety of technology used and the design of the final Prezi

Finally, I liked how Prezi was used to piece everything together
