Collaborate with

3rd Eye/YAP

Have the YAP group speak to the students and teachers about some key points and benefits of recycling.

Show the students the YAP video; “Keep It Sustainable”

Have students provide feedback about what the video means to them.

Preparation for Final Event

Meet with Jen from 3rd Eye to review who will be in attendance and what the YAP kids will be talking about

Create an agenda with time slots to fill the allotted time of 12:30-1:30

Have YAP kids prepared to speak to students about recycling and about the “Keep it Sustainable” video

Day of Final Event

Have a viewing of the video

Present the winning drawing and provide each student and teacher with a t-shirt

Allow the student who won to speak about their inspiration in the design as well as their logo and slogan

Provide the winning student with the “Keep it Sustainable” DVD

Thank all of the students and teachers for their participation in making our event a success!
