Select NeptuneThree models are available in the range: Analytical, featuring a low TOC specification; Life Science, offering low bacteria, endotoxins and RNases/DNases specification; and Ultimate, which combines the benefits of both the Analytical and Life Science models. Each unit produces between 1.5 and 2 litres of ultrapure, 18.2MΩ.cm purified water per minute from a feedwater source of <20us/cm.The range utilizes a number of proven technologies to produce ultra-pure 18.2MΩ.cm, water, including:- ion exchange cartridges incorporating monospherical, semiconductor grade mixed bed deionising resin with a low TOC leaching profile and a high activity organic absorption media.- a 0.2um filter and a 0.05um microfilter (Life Science & Ultimate) to remove particles, bacteria and endotoxins.- 185nm or photo-oxidizing UV to cleave orgainic compounds into smaller charged ionic species that canbe removed by ion exchange (Analytical & Ultimate)-254nm UV to reduce bacteria by more than 99%

All Neptune models recirculate purified water to maintain its quality and include data capture

For traceability and intelligent monitoring systems that place the unit into standby when its not in use. They also feature semi-automated cleaning and sanitizing routines, TOC indication and alarms for cartridge, UV and filter replacement.

The Select Nepyune range provides a high flow of guaranteed 18.2MΩ.cm ultrapure water for analytical and life sciences laboratory applications

Integra for Central Systems

Integra water purification units use proven reverse osmosis technology, in conjunction with activated carbon and particulate filtration as part of the first stage of purification. Water from the first stage is stored in an integral stainless steel tank providing a continuous feed to a distribution loop. To maintain microbiological purity, the circulating water is continually purified using UV and membrane filtration technology. The systems are configured to run on both hard and soft feed water. As standard, all Integra systems are equipped with sophisticated integral data logging technology providing a historic traceability for key operating parameters.

Water Purification for Sterile Processing

Canadian High Purity Water Inc is the representative for Purite Water Purification Products in Canada. Purite has developed a range of advanced water purification units to provide purified water consistently and reliably for the needs of specific applications. Our water purification technology delivers consistent levels of water quality to the latest standards , ensures long, reliable and low maintenance operating life, and provides every customer with a wide choice of features and operational criteria.

Water quality requirements for the decontamination of most healthcare equipment, components, and devices are similar that water for initial cleaning can be achieved by a potable softened city feed.

It is essential that purified water is used for final rinse water as it this part of the process that is the last that physically comes in contact with material surfaces prior to sterilization.

Page 20: Pp,Presentation,Feb2010

Water Purification for Sterile Processing

The purified water should contain extremely low levels of bacteria and endotoxin and any distributed pipe work is designed to support and maintain the appropriate standards. The mineral content of the purified water is sufficiently low to ensure that there are no residues that could lead to staining or provide potential sites within which infectious organisms can b concealed. In most cases best practice usually demands that a pure water supply, typically incorporating softening, carbon filtration, reverse osmosis and bacteria filtration is provided for final stage rinse applications, or for clean steam generation processes. The technologies that we offer include pre-treatment to soften raw water feed and reduce chlorine and organics, reverse osmosis to remove ionic contaminants, disinfection, such as ultraviolet, sub-micron bacterial filtration and heated distribution systems.

IntegraIntegra water purification units use proven reverse osmosis technology, in conjunction with activated carbon and particulate filtration as part of the first stage of purification. The Integra E+ model has been developed specifically with thermal sanitization, which can be set to run automatically or manually. The system thermally sanitizes the internal purified water storage tank and all external distribution pipe work that is connected to the Integra E+. The complete process is recorded on the data logging system.Completely self-contained unit in a robust housing. The systems have a make-up flow rate of up to 600 L/hr, storage up to 250 litres, and distributed at a rate up to 50 L/min.
